Breeding season is here with a rush!  In the last four days I have bred 17 does.  Some of those bucks worked very hard so not sure if all does took.......but we will know in about 21 days time.

This is both a very exciting time of year and a very frustrating time of year for me. Friendly, loving does turn into brainless, giddy, flighty witches when in heat. Bucks lose all the brain cells they ever had. Some want to breed everything, others fixate on one doe and want to ignore the does they can have. The Lamanchas fall in love with Nubian ears, the Nubians love the sleek earless Lamancha look. The doe that is an old pro, decides that she is very in heat this year but will be very chaste as well!

But I am looking forward five months and can see the little bouncy kids in my minds eye......wink
